Julie has, over the years, developed from a background in front line management in a FTSE top 50 company, to directing her own company, internationally facilitating change through leadership team development programmes.
For more than a decade she has dedicated herself to deepening her own capabilities in order to share this knowledge and skills with hundreds of others, as Learning and Development Specialist within the Alliance and Leicester, as a Facilitator in a senior HR leadership role within Barclays Bank PLC. and most recently as Managing Director of Julie Lines Associates Ltd.
Julie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (1994) and a Master Practitioner (2002) and Trainer (2003) of Neuro Linguistic Programming. She is also Myers Briggs Type Indicator qualified; Team Management Systems qualified and holds the Facilitation Elective from Henley Management College, alongside her many other qualifications.
Julie combines a high level of professional qualifications with a wealth of experienced in the area of leadership development. Her area of specialism is working with the interpersonal and intrapersonal elements of leadership, often a neglected aspect in the development of senior leaders. She has worked with all levels of leadership, placing higher focus on senior leaders as this creates greater organisational impact, within a hugely varied and diverse range of organisations. Together, these things, give her a depth and breadth of experience and capability that is very powerful.
One of Julie’s strongest beliefs, as a direct result of this experience, is that when a leader creates and nurtures a culture that continuously inspires others to motivate and challenge themselves, a team can truly maximise upon its full capabilities and talent.
By helping leaders to understand how they can think differently, analyse situations from new perspectives and create choice and flexibility for themselves, Julie influences change with others that makes a sustained impact which benefits the individual, team and organisation.
