As with all of the individuals at Standing Ovation, Jane has extensive experience in actually delivering, not just talking about delivering, world-class results in her field.
Jane traded university for ballet school before working as a professional dancer around the world. When a back injury meant Jane had to pack up her dancing shoes (professionally that is), she joined the world of business with American Express.
Quickly realising a desk job was not her, Jane joined the training department, moving into Management Training and then the field of Personal Development, where her purpose became clear.
For over 15 years Jane has challenged individuals to recognise what matters most to them, professionally and personally, and worked with them to achieve more than they believed possible. Her significant reputation in her field attracted the executives of leading UK Television’s Channel 4 and Jane was asked to be a regular on their flagship programme (and cultural reality TV phenomenon) Big Brother, offering her expertise and observations around communication and team work (or the lack of it). She also featured several times on ‘Big Brother’s Little Brother’ as well as being an expert guest on the influential BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour programme with Jenni Murray.
Jane is an inspirational speaker, motivating facilitator and challenging while supportive coach, working with individuals and teams in the private and public sectors as well as charitable organisations. Jane uses a combination of Neuro Linguistic Programming techniques, a coaching mindset and a range of creative facilitation skills to adapt her style to the individual or group she is working with.
Always working on challenging herself and to add to her skill set, Jane is now qualified in Colour Analysis and Image Consultancy, driven by her love of shopping and a belief that confidence and self belief comes from both the inside and out! Jane also recently decided to join the team at Standing Ovation, and we are absolutely thrilled to have her passion, expertise and capability for helping our clients deliver world-class results.
